Dr. Burl Randolph, Jr., DM, is an award-winning Amazon bestselling author who has been described in various ways. Some say he is an author, editor, and speaker. Others know him as a scholar, practitioner, and leader. He is best known as a Soldier, warrior, and patriot. His favorite description, however, is Master Storyteller.

As a former Executive Contributor to Brainz Magazine, Dr. Burl wrote the article, Four Reasons Why Writing is My Refuge. He believes everyone should have a refuge from the hustle and bustle of life, especially given his previous profession.

I drastically expanded my writing horizons in 2025. I published articles on leadership in the International Business Times (IBT), Business Insider (BI), and CEO Weekly. I continued my journey in 2026 with articles in ValiantCEO and USA Today Online. This allows me to blog, speak, and teach from my work, much like I do from my books. Dr. Randolph retired in 2014 as a US Army Colonel. He leveraged his nearly 32 years of military leadership and management experience, including three combat tours in Iraq, to inform his work at MyWingman, LLC, a Business Leadership and Management Consulting company.
