Since I was a teenager, I've used baseball as a way to distract myself from everything my life was missing. I grew up too fast, taking care of my two younger brothers. They were all I had, until one day, they were taken away and I was alone.

As the rookie catcher of the Daytona Fury, I have a lot to prove. Not only do I need to be perfect on the field, but I'm doing it all while fulfilling a promise to the woman who raised me.
