C.J. Gryffin is a writer and special education teacher whose storytelling
is deeply shaped by her work with children with autism and other
significant support needs. Through both her teaching and her writing,
she is drawn to stories about courage, family, resilience, and the quiet
strength often overlooked by the world.
Her debut novel, The Color of Silence, is the first book in A Dreamers’
Dragons Novel series. The story began with a literal dream and stayed
with her for eighteen years before finally making its way to the page.
C.J. lives in Utah with a full heart, a busy imagination, and a deep
love for her family, who inspire her work in more ways than they know.
