C.C. Skye is a Chicago native who now lives in the Wisconsin area. As a retired energy-industry analyst, she spends her time pursuing her lifelong passion for writing and advocating for prison reform—reform to transform the incarcerated from the inside out. She is the host of the weekly Prisoner’s Pardon Podcast, in which she interviews experts on various strategies for ending recidivism—including previously incarcerated police officers, correctional officers, teachers, psychologists, and others involved in the criminal justice system.
