C. B. Sterling has worked in international and domestic localization and dubbing (under his birth name) for animation and live action features & series, and has voice-directed shows for Amazon, Netflix, DreamWorks Animation, Disney/Hulu and Warner Brothers/HBO, among others. But the thing that brings him the most joy is writing stories for animation. "Dialogue and settings for anthropomorphic characters in animation, when told with subtlely and depth, provide the reader with a level of awareness that can transform the human experience. TO THE RESCUE is the first book in the TO THE RESCUE trilogy. Inspired by a personal interaction with a woman who was issued a guide dog after suffering life-altering injuries in The World Trade Center collapse on 9/11/2001. He was so fascinated by the dog's level of commitment and devotion to its human's care and well-being, that he immediately started a simple outline of a fictional story. For readers age 9 and above.

As a screenplay, NATURE CALLS, CAT ANSWERS won awards from The British Animation Film Festival, The Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards and the Tokyo Cinema Awards, among others. It has now been adapted into a 48,500-word book for readers age 10 and above. For the audio book, there was only one voice actor who I felt could handle the dozen-plus characters: Vancouver, Canada-based actor, Callyn Dorval. She is simply brilliant throughout. Callyn is highly intuitive and super smart when determining the "temperature" of every scene's setting, and the specific demands required for each character. He hopes you'll agree.
