Mr. Restivo is an entrepreneur with a background in finance and accounting. A long-time medical marijuana advocate, Mr. Restivo has worked with a number of new and established collectives throughout the last decade and was awarded his city’s first official medical marijuana dispensary permit in 2009. Through helping new dispensaries to start their business, and existing ones to streamline their processes, Mr. Restivo gained a wealth of first-hand experience with local policing, district attorneys, and the federal DEA—all of which offered intense insight into the other side of the legal fence. His numerous hours in court sessions and attorney briefings provide him with a unique, even priceless, perspective on medical marijuana laws. Mr. Restivo's prior experience includes auditing various 501(c)(3) non-profit corporations. He was employed at high-end accounting firms in California, and has extensive experience with business valuation, acquisitions, and consulting. He is a UCSB graduate with an Honors degree in Economics, and his first CA medical marijuana guidebook is currently featured in two prominent law libraries. Mr. Restivo continues to consult professionally with individuals opening dispensaries, Medical Marijuana (MMJ) delivery services, and other private businesses such as retail boutiques and entertainment companies.
