C.J. McKee is a writer, artist and musician - not necessarily in that order. Ever since starting English classes in junior high school his storytelling took root. From there and being a nerd in band as well as a lifelong interest in creating images of dragons and other mythical beings the beginnings of building a world of fantasy and magic was born. C.J. has written two fantasy novels and several short stories ranging from fantasy to sci fi and also a non-fiction spiritual anecdotes book. In addition he has participated and led musical bands and drum circles for decades. Finally the art of dabbling - in art, allowed him to create the covers and prints of dragons, mythical places and fantasy landscapes to assist his novels in coming alive. Although currently focused on writing he wears many hats and stretches himself to the limits sometimes - maybe too often, but creativity is utmost in his life and passions. Even his mundane job is spent creating graphics and designs for marketing purposes. He lives with his wife and fur-child in Montana.
