Britt Noonan is described as writing novels with emotional intensity that builds suspense right until it saturates the readers with terror and darkness that stays until the very end. The characters are described as glimpses of lives not often explored in novels but yet still are relatable to the audience. Staying with themes of violence, angst, love, and terror often mixed together, she writes novels that pull at the hearts of her readers. With a Bachelor of Psychology, she uses her knowledge of the psyche to really drive home how different personalities respond to life events, the good and the ugly, and what drives people into performing dangerous and self-harming activities.
