Britney Hill is an aspiring fiction author and writer. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 10, 2005.

She was diagnosed with autism at the age of three and hopes to spread neurodiversity through the symbolic storytelling of her first published story, “Glass-Bottomed Boat.”

She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood development and learning at Central Michigan University. When she looks at how far she has grown from her rocky childhood, she strives to support young children with their personal growth and their own unique needs.

Britney has always adored creative writing ever since she was seven. She has been highly encouraged to see her storytelling as a talent after earning the “Certificate of Writing Excellence” for her narrative poem, “Mercury and the Moon,” at the District Writing Celebration in March 2019 from the school district, Warren Consolidated School.

Three storytelling projects she is currently writing and plans to publish someday are a full novel version of “Glass-Bottomed Boat,” a mystery, horror, and emotional coming-of-age novel, “Mythos of the Haunted Hayride,” and a satirical sitcom-style comedy series, “Family Video Movie Club,” based on a real-life former video rental store.

Her goal as an author is to send out meaningful messages of friendships, family dynamics, and character/human development for a widespread audience of all ages.
