Hey there! I’m Brian Teinert—a lifelong educator, history enthusiast, and storyteller on a mission to get kids (especially the reluctant readers out there) fired up about the past. For over 20 years, I’ve worked with students around the world—teaching in international schools and American classrooms—and one thing has never changed: when history is told right, kids lean in. That’s why I write nonfiction books that turn dusty battles into gripping adventures and shine a spotlight on the real heroes you don’t hear about in textbooks. My Legends of War series shares true stories of courage, grit, and heart with young readers, demonstrating that history is more than just dates and maps. It’s about people who faced impossible odds, stood up for what they believed in, and often changed the course of history without anyone noticing... until now. Growing up, I was the kid who preferred climbing trees or building forts over sitting with a book, so I understand. That’s why I write fast-paced, action-packed stories designed to hook even the most screen-loving kids and give them something real to root for. Bonus: They might just learn something along the way. When I’m not writing, I’m probably hiking with my family, planning the next travel adventure, or geeking out over an old war map. I believe history can be unforgettable—if we tell it right.
