Brian McGovern is a public affairs and media relations professional with two decades of experience in military, state government, federal government, and nonprofit communication. His work has included media relations, crisis communication, strategic messaging, public affairs planning, interview preparation, and writing for public audiences.

A former U.S. Army public affairs specialist, Brian has served in communication roles that required clear messaging, careful coordination, and public trust. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Thomas Edison State University and, as of this writing, is nearing completion of graduate studies in strategic communication through the University of Tennessee.

Brian has also served in churches across the United States in a variety of volunteer roles, including church plant committee member, small group leader, musician, livestream volunteer, and videographer.

Brian and his wife have four adult children. In his free time, he enjoys writing, hiking, kayaking, and playing the ukulele.
