Brian Holshouser began writing songs at the age of 11. Through his music project, The Cashmere, he penned and co-wrote several songs layered with rich backstories — a habit that naturally grew into long-form storytelling. In 2012, Brian began outlining worlds and characters for what could one day become a comic series, a game, or a collection of books. Over the course of more than a decade, he gathered ideas, refined them, and quietly sculpted the foundation of what would become his debut fantasy novel, Gwyn’s Kingdom – The Electric Moon. With roots in songwriting, Brian’s writing style leans poetic, blending emotion, mystery, and immersive detail.
