Brian has been a successful entrepreneur since the age of 22. In 2013 he began to study Bitcoin from a skeptical point of view. He wanted to disprove the claims about Bitcoin. Through that study, he became intrigued by its fundamental tenets. After spending years in the Bitcoin community, Brian became the Chief Marketing Officer for a small blockchain team called Atheneum that focused on decentralizing educational content in order to make it accessible to everyone. Through his three years on that team, he became more convinced of the true value of Bitcoin and decided to refocus his efforts on Bitcoin education. He resigned from his executive position in late 2021 in order to focus on writing his first book, Bitcoin Evangelism. Bitcoin Evangelism is a resource for individuals that are Bitcoin-curious and for those that love Bitcoin but have a difficult time articulating what makes it so special to their friends and family. Brian believes that Bitcoin will fundamentally transform society for the better and he is thrilled to be a part of that movement.
