Brent J. MacDonald is a pastor, teacher, and bible researcher focusing on biblical archaeology and the historicity of bible events. As executive director of Cottage Cove Urban Ministries in Nashville, Tennessee – a ministry for at-risk children and youth – he enables and encourages believers to live out lives of love for “the least of these.” He offers seminars through Cottage Cove’s Discipleship Training Institute, plus his research materials and articles are distributed through Lion Tracks Ministries and utilized worldwide. Brent frequently travels with his wife Angie for on-site research in the Bible lands. Countries of expertise include Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan, Tunisia, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Iran. He presents related artifacts and research materials through his Nashville-based Biblical Archaeology Museum. Brent is the father of two married sons and grandfather of six.
