It's amazing to me that I am writing this Author Page bio because the truth is, I give almost everything to my kids. (I'm a Mama to six C-section babies ages 1-16!) My husband gets a sliver after “almost”... then what’s left is used to run a business, coach people who want to be in business, and oh yeah, write a book! Truly, writing a book is a lifelong dream come true. It all started when I was coaching a small group of women, and everyone gathered around and the words, "Once Upon a Time, Bitches..." spilled from my lips. Everyone thought it was funny and so did I. As I got to thinking about it, it seemed like the perfect title for the book I was writing and message I wanted to share which is all about saving yourself. (Newsflash: "Prince Charming" is not coming, even though my husband is about as close as you can get!) When I pitched the title on a call to my now publisher, they loved it and they believed in me. What I learned from that is, you never really know "how" things are going to happen, but when you show the f-up, you have a chance. That's why I do what I do. I want to help other women become the hero in their story and write the HEA ending that they deserve. This book is a big part in helping me do just that. It's also given me the platform to keep growing a thriving business. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to have a sip of wine, move the clothes from the washer into the dryer, and find out which kid is screaming and why. (Or is that my husband?)
