Bradley Folsom is an author and history professor who specializes in the Texas-Mexico borderlands. His articles have been featured in the Southwestern Historical Quarterly and other scholarly journals, and he makes regular appearances on television, radio shows, and podcasts to promote southwestern history. He also hosts the Historo youtube channel. In 2017, the Texas State Historical Association awarded Folsom the H. Bailey Carroll award for the best article on Texas history, and the following year, his book Arredondo received the Coral Horton Tullis Memorial Prize for best book on Texas history and the Kate Broocks Bates award for historical research. After serving six years in the United States Navy, Folsom graduated from the University of North Texas with a Ph.D. in American history. He enjoys true crime and solving historical mysteries.
