Blaque Diamond, christened Bianca Johnson in the fall of 1989, was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She began writing at the tender age of eleven, due to urging from her fifth-grade teacher Mrs. Thornton. Blaque Diamond did not have an easy childhood, so writing became therapy to get her through the toughest years of her life. Her writings reflected her dreams and imaginations of a child yearning for a happy family and the love she was not receiving at home. Blaque Diamond’s childhood dream of becoming a published author was achieved in the year 2016 when she submitted some of her original poems to be included in an anthology featuring aspiring poets. Three out of the four poems she submitted were chosen to appear in the book, and her journey as an author began. To date, Blaque Diamond has self-published fourteen books in total, spanning various genres such as children’s literature, romance, poetry, non-fiction, contemporary fiction, and erotica. Blaque Diamond has also co-authored three additional books in the form of anthologies with other talented authors. She has a catalog of unpublished books just waiting for the world to read. When Blaque Diamond is not brainstorming her next publication, she enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling, shopping, binge watching true crime shows, writing music, spending time with her significant other and their three children, and a host of other fun activities. Blaque Diamond works full-time in banking, she is a student studying for a degree in Human Resources Management, and she is a co-host on the BFF Empowerment Podcast.
