Blake Collins is a young adult author whose work explores grief, healing, and the power of human connection. His debut novel, Unfinished Goodbyes, follows a teenage boy navigating loss, guilt, and the slow, hopeful path toward recovery—an emotional journey that reflects Blake’s belief that stories can offer comfort when life feels impossible. A longtime educator and assistant principal, Blake has spent more than a decade supporting students and families. His daily experiences—watching young people work through fear, heartbreak, courage, and growth—inspire the characters and themes he writes. When he’s not writing, Blake can be found chasing laughter with his four kids, fishing on the North Carolina coast, or competing in Madden, NCAA, or Fortnite Zero Build. He believes the best stories are the ones that make readers feel deeply—and hopes his work helps someone out there realize they aren’t as alone as they think.
