Blair Harton wrote her award-winning debut novel, Love, Lydie, as a new mother living in Monterey, California. While there, she also attended sailing school—an adventure that inspired part of her second novel, Blue Miracle, a YA/adult crossover coming-of-age romantic drama.

She wrote Summer Embers in Ankara, Turkey, in the fall of 2025, and currently lives in Budapest, Hungary, with her husband and two daughters.

When she’s not dreaming up new stories, she can be found cooking, camping, or enjoying a nice glass of Chardonnay.
