Bill Douglas has spent more than 30 years bringing technology to industries that were slow to adopt it. He has been an entrepreneur since he was 13, and he has built and run six companies, not all of which worked; he'll tell you he learned as much from those as from the ones that did. His earlier company, EssentiaLink, brought managed IT, disaster recovery, and automated fulfillment to midsize manufacturers.

Today he is the CEO of OpticWise, an AI-native company that provides managed data and digital infrastructure for commercial real estate. He co-authored Peak Property Performance (Fast Company Press) and co-hosts its companion podcast with Drew Hall, giving away the playbook for running buildings on data and AI. He completed MIT's AI strategy program and runs his businesses on AI every day, as the operating system rather than an experiment.

Bill is also the ResilienceGuy, coaching high-earning men 45+ across Body, Business, and Being. At 61, after 30 years thriving with MS, he's living proof the second half can be the strongest.
