Bertie Stephens' career spans through film, technology, and sustainability. By day he is CEO and a co-founder of the Clean Planet Group, dedicated to solving the global plastic waste crisis through innovative ecoPlants that convert hard-to-recycle plastics into sustainable products across the UK, US, and Europe. The Ellie Ment series, published by the Clean Planet Foundation, blends real science into adventure to engage readers on our environmental challenges. The Clean Planet Foundation (CPF) educates and takes action for the sustainable use of plastics, and reduction of carbon emissions; it is a not-for-profit organisation. Previously, Bertie founded SKU Cloud, named among the UK's most valuable startups, and produced award-winning independent films, including the documentary 'Behind the Trees' which won at the Cannes World Film Festival. Bertie was awarded Debrett’s 500 Most Influential People in Britain in 2016 for his business impact. Bertie lives between England and Czechia with his wife, Steph, and son, Oskar.
