Ben has been in the advertising business for more than 30 years. His letters, ads and websites have generated more than $1 billion for his clients. Ben has written a number of books, including: ** How to Write Blockbuster Sales Letters (2006) ** Fund Your Cause: Secrets of Successful Direct Mail Fundraising (2005) ** Faith & Freedom: The Christian Roots of American Liberty (1988) ** Poisoned Ivy: How America’s Elite Colleges are Waging War on Freedom of Thought. (1984) Ben is a freedom “maximalist.” Ben has written speeches for leading political figures including President Ronald Reagan (1984 campaign), President George H.W. Bush (1988 campaign), Senator Robert Dole (1996 campaign) and Governor Pete du Pont. Ben is also an investor. His three biggest investments are Bitcoin, Tesla, and real estate. Ben sees Bitcoin as insurance against economic and political system collapse. “If all Hell breaks loose here, Bitcoin allows you to carry your assets with you to where ever civilization might still exist,” says Ben. Ben established BitcoinInstitute.net in 2022 to teach the world about Bitcoin, and why everyone should own at least some Bitcoin. Ben graduated in 1982 from Dartmouth College where he helped found America’s most famous pro-freedom student newspaper The Dartmouth Review in 1980, and which continues to publish. Ben’s first book POISONED IVY, which he wrote during his senior year at Dartmouth, chronicles the founding of The Dartmouth Review and was the first book to describe the odd “woke” ideology (which Ben called “The Ethos”) that was taking hold in the faculty lounges of America’s elite colleges and that aims to end freedom of thought. POISONED IVY was a national bestseller. Ben and his wife Wanda have six children.
