Born on the West Coast of Scotland, Becca still resides in the region with her husband and two children. After graduating from university with a degree in English Literature and later gaining her Master's in Education, Becca has worked as a primary teacher for over two decades. Devoting her time outside the classroom to writing romance, Scottish fantasy, historical fiction, and fantasy novellas, she published her first book in March 2024. She enjoys writing in the fantasy, supernatural, and suspense genres, offering her readers a sense of escapism.
In her first book of the series, Cherry Blossom: The Depths, the reader discovers a hidden secret that will surely draw them in. Through her protagonist, we are introduced to a world that Deana thought she knew, opening her mind and heart to the unseen, ethereal beauty that has always been around her but hidden from view. Havard, the dark and mysterious male character who drives the series, leaves the reader questioning whether he is indeed a villain or a hero in disguise.
With further books in the series now available for download and purchase, the story continues and will surely provide more plot twists and excitement as it unfolds in Cherry Blossom: The Cabin and the latest instalment, Cherry Blossom: The Loch.
Becca has also begun writing children's books. Her first story, Daring Donkey, was released in September 2024. It marks a journey of discovery for the charming main character, Daring, who enjoys embarking on his own adventures of exploration. The Curious Tales of Grim: A Witch’s Cat was also released in spring 2025. Becca hopes to engage younger readers in the hilarious but well-meaning adventures of Grim, the curious cat who always finds himself in trouble.
In November 2024, Becca released a brand new book in the fantasy/supernatural category, The Last Coven. In her first historical fiction novel, we are introduced to a coven living on the West Coast of Scotland during the period of the Witchcraft Act 1649. Troubled times await the main protagonist, Aradia, as her coven is on the brink of destruction by the Presbytery Ministers of the Reformed Church, who seek to root out and eradicate Witchcraft. Blending real-life historical figures and fictional characters will surely interest those who reside in the area and those who enjoy getting lost in a Witchcraft novel.
In the autumn of 2025, Becca hopes to release the prequel to The Last Coven as part of her new series of books, The Coven. In the second book, A Coven Lost, there will be many twists and turns, as well as intense tensions and exciting dialogue, as we uncover a brewing dark secret. The Triquetra Coven is the most revered and respected in Scotland. Coven leader Margaret Barclay has a vision for her coven; she believes it can become the most powerful of its kind as she endeavours to push her members to hone and develop their many gifts and talents.
But trouble awaits, as Margaret and her closest allies embark on a journey of retribution to avenge a slight made against the coven leader. A twisted and dark choice is made, which could bring the coven and its members one step closer to being discovered by the church.

In May of 2025, Becca released her first Scottish fantasy novel, A Curse of Power. It is part of the Blood and Power series and features Scottish Fae, as well as themes from Scottish mythology and Celtic folklore. It is sure to draw readers in as the female main character, living on Earth, soon discovers she has much more to learn about her unknown past as her world suddenly resembles the pages of the best fantasy books she has read. Thrust into Aelba, a parallel universe to Earth, she soon discovers a world shrouded in darkness as a war for the Kingdoms rages on. The Seelie Court is in turmoil as the King of the Unseelie Court embarks on world domination.
