Raised in Idaho, Becca grew up the youngest of five in a household of musicians and wordsmiths. She took piano lessons starting at age 3 and was writing her own short stories at 6. Throughout her education, she flip-flopped between creative writing, music, and combining both art forms into one. Becca entered university as an English Major set on acquiring a Creative Writing degree. Instead, she graduated Boise State University with three degrees in Music Composition, Piano Performance, and Vocal Studies, all while continuing work on her first novel.
