I've never taken myself seriously. I'm no Hemingway. I'm no Fitzgerald. I'm no HST. Hell, I'm not even a Palahniuk. But I write things. Novels, short stories, whatever. Maybe they entertain. Maybe they inform. Maybe they make people think "WTF is wrong with this guy?". They might be good, they might not. But at the end of the day, if my writing can make people feel anything, then I'm cool with that. I live in a small town in North Carolina. I'm "outdoorsy" in that I like to drink on patios. I'm a whiskey snob. Apparently given what I write about, I have a fascination with cults and conspiracies. And a bitterness towards the concept of celebrity. I like to write cynical, sarcastic narrators that have just hint of nihilism. As I write this, I currently have an unhealthy amount of memes saved on my phone, zero felines, and a light online-stalker relationship with Rachel McAdams. I always have an obsession with perfecting a macaroni and cheese recipe and collecting vinyl records. And no, I don't think it is a "superior" audio format. I'm not some kind of hipster, I just think they're cool. But macaroni and cheese is totally a superior pasta format. Check me out at ihateaustinkennedy.com
