I’m a psychotherapist, writer, and activist who is passionate about expanding public understanding of trauma, dissociation, and healing. As a psychotherapist in private practice, I work with individuals navigating trauma, identity, and harmony between their inner parts. I have also been a founding member of Harvest Collegiate High School in Manhattan, where I served as Director of Counseling, building progressive, student-centered approaches to mental health support in schools. Through both my clinical work and personal storytelling, I aim to foster awareness and reduce stigma around mental health, bringing complex psychological experiences into accessible conversations. My creative nonfiction has appeared in Ms. Magazine, The New York Daily News, Invisible Illness, CounterPunch, Thrive Global, and more. My debut memoir, My Name Means Fire (Beacon Press, October 14, 2025), explores resilience, survival, and life with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).
