Ashley Worrell is a repentant HR professional, grateful to be crafting adventure stories instead of disciplinary notices. Since leaving the corporate world in 2021, she has become a full-time writer and a 2023 ACFW Genesis Contest semi-finalist for her debut novel The Radiance of the Moon, which launched her popular Hebridean Shield series. She lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with her family and her beloved dog—and unofficial literary agent—Sallie Ann, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains she loves. When not roaming the medieval Scottish isles in her imagination, Ashley plays traditional percussion on her bodhrán.
