Arvind's career started when he was still a student and adapted the Douglas Adams' novel "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency” as a play and the great science fiction author came to see it, and took the young writer under his wing. Since then Arvind has created stories for page, stage, screen, eyes and ears, mainly in genre. Graphic Novels include: a critically acclaimed adaptation of Raymond Chandler's "Trouble is My Business"Stoker Award-nominated series "Darkness Visible" (with Mike Carey) for IDW as well as the Dirk Gently comic series. Audio work includes the chart-topping Audible Originals: "The Neil Gaiman at the End of the Universe", “Darkness Visible” "The Girl Who Wasn't There" and "Would you like to choose the Race?" as well as "The Crimes of Dorian Gray" In television, Arvind was an executive producer of the Netflix/BBC America "Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency" series and wrote on "Anansi Boys" for Amazon Studios. Theater includes "The Boy With Wings" based on Lenny Henry's children's novels and live version of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Arvind is a principal of Prodigal, the entertainment company where he has produced eight feature films including the Asian Academy Award-winning "The Garden of Evening Mists" and theatrical shows including the Tony- and Grammy-winning Alanis Morissette musical "Jagged Little Pill".
