Anurag Sharma is a distinguished bilingual author, editor, podcaster, director, and cultural advocate whose work bridges continents and disciplines. He also enjoys writing about information technology, project management and other related topics in Hindi, and English. He is the first winner of prestigious international award 'Aprawasi Hindi Sahitya Srijan Samman', conferred biennially by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute, Mauritius for creative writing in diaspora Hindi literature. He is also an awardee of Bhashya Gaurav Puraskar. More recently, he received the National Nirmal Verma Award, one of India’s highest literary honors for Indian writers abroad, celebrating his enduring impact on Hindi literature and cultural preservation. Author of five solo books, and editor of one anthology, Anurag has been published in many anthologies, and journals. Co-founder of Radio Playback India, Anurag has been instrumental in podcasting over 300 short stories, and Vinoba Bhave's lectures on Gita in four languages. He has produced radio dramas (Hawamahal 2.0), Kiss a Tale, Internet Kavi Sammelan and Shabdon Ke Chak Par. He has been interviewed on radio in India, USA and Japan. He is the editor-in-chief of Setu, bilingual monthly journal of art and literature, published from Pittsburgh, USA.
