Antoinette Godin, a debut novelist is Native American and an enrolled member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe. In her debut "Native Brush Strokes" she combines her rich heritage and legal expertise to write what she fondly calls "Wuthering Heights Meets Indian Country." She blends plotlines in "Wuthering Heights" with a Twentieth Century dark romance that contains symbolism, references to native culture throughout, and provides a growing experience for the reader. Antoinette has recently been honored as a finalist in the 2026 Next Generation Indie Book Awards BIPOC and in "Multicultural Fiction" for the 2026 American Legacy Book Awards (“ALBA”). She also proudly received "Honorable Mention" by the New York Book Festival 2025 for "Native Brush Strokes." She currently lives in Washington State.
