Anthony Lee Phillips is the epic fantasy author of NALA SAGA, a story about cosmically entangled orcs with emotion magic. When the magic happens, it turns into poetry. "It's like Tolkien for atheists." Nala and Bakura's entanglement is loosely inspired by Rey and Kylo Ren, but if Kylo Ren was allowed the final boss of Rey's arc. Another way it's been said is, "Imagine that Gandalf was in love with Sauron, and that's why he couldn't go head to head against him." Other influences on NALA SAGA are Zelda: Majora's Mask, the Kingkiller Chronicle, and Guy Gavriel Kay's masterpiece Tigana. Anthony has a background in music (self-taught) and a BFA in Acting (Cornish, graduated 2014).
