Anna Switzer, PhD is an outdoor adventurer and long-time educator. She has over 30 years of experience working with people to help them understand how the earth works (science education), how their connection with the earth works (human-environment interaction), and helping them get back to nature (outdoor education). She has facilitated people of all ages in diverse settings that include forests, waterways, and classrooms and is also an educator/coach of educators. Anna has previously published through National Geographic Education's blog site. License to Learn is her first book. She is currently working on a second book about the importance and nuances of decision-making.
