Ann Emerson is the director of The Sanctuary of Sophia in Daytona Beach, Florida. She is a spry, witty and energetic 90 year-old mother of five, grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of five, with more on the way. Ann holds the wisdom of the maiden, mother, and crone - the wisdom of the Divine Feminine. She is a teacher of spiritual ecstasy. Experience the joy of dancing in the Light of the Goddess. Over the last 42 years, Ann has directed or co-directed 6 different holistic growth centers, and has done healing work in a variety of environments, including psychiatric hospitals, maximum security prisons, and churches. She is also a founding member of the princetongreen spirit-guided community. Ann co-authored her first book, ESSENCE, A Gateway to eXpansive Living, in 2014, which is about spiritual transformation to live life without fear, whereby maximizing human potential through embracing an infinite belief system. ESSENCE has evolved over the past 11 years, and now on the Fourth Edition, it finally feels complete. It is available in Hardcover, Paperback, Kindle, and Audible formats. She is currently working on writing Book #2 of the ESSENCE Trilogy Series, which will be published in September 2025.. As an inter-faith minister, Ann has pursued a lifelong study combining Spiritual Paths, Community Development, and Family. Her own family spans four religious traditions: Protestant, Eastern philosophies, Jewish, and Roman Catholic.
