Hi, my name is Andy and I live in the beautiful city of Winchester, UK with a girl called Jane. We've been married for ages and had two daughters in the process. We both trained as primary school teachers but I've been a full time guitar teacher with pre-teens since 2000.

Starting out teaching all those years ago I struggled to find suitable resources for beginners, so I started writing one myself. Loveguitar is the result of a good few years of road testing, reviewing and refining a simple-to-follow and easy-to-understand method that works for complete beginners.

2017/18 will be spent adding (to the loveguitar.co.uk website) videos to compliment the book.

I've also written a couple of travelogues about our VW camper van experiences in Europe ('900 Miles for a Cornetto' and '900 Miles in Search of Croatia').

When I'm not writing, teaching or Wordpress wrestling, I'm usually found off-road biking in the woods listening to Steely Dan.
