Andrew Steed is a modern day wizard. He lives a magical life leading pilgrimages to mystical caves, holy wells, wooded groves, stone circles and sacred places in the UK, Ireland, India and Jamaica. He is a playful soul that inspires people to find their authentic voice in the world. His stories have impacted the lives of school children, college students and adults in both the non-profit and corporate world. Heading home from Exeter after leading a magical gathering in Cornwall I went through security at Exeter airport. I realised my Dragon Eye pouch had not made it through the scanning machine. I had on my coat of many colours, it was handmade for me and has a dragon with a huge sun emblazoned on the back. On the front is an owl in front of a stained glass window. I was wearing trousers that have been decorated with stars and and faerie treasures, my dented top hat, a brightly coloured walking stick and my rainbow shoes on yet there was no sign of my Dragon Eye. I wandered back to the security guards who looked me up and down as I explained the missing pouch. They searched around the scanner to no avail. I explained I had started to take off my belt as I entered the security line and perhaps it had fallen off then. A guard then wandered off and returned holding the pouch. She looked at me intently and asked “Are you a Wizard?” “Yes I am” I replied. She looked at the other guard with a knowing look and said “See, I told you.” Life is full of magic because we are full of magic. As my personal trainer said to me recently “Andrew you do not follow the magic, the magic follows you.” I hope you are called to read the magic within my stories. Much love, Andrew.
