In another intriguing event overseen by Andrew, a company director, the subject of a meeting of creditors, was required to be in attendance on the day, albeit by telephone, but feeling considerable safer from his jail cell. Added to everything else, there have been innumerable instances when commercial choices faced by Andrew have involved significant financial risk. In one situation the sums ran into millions of pounds. Notwithstanding the hazards of a professional life, Andrew enjoys exploring some of the darker aspects of human nature in his nightmare short stories.
