Andrea LaRosa is the founder of Date Smarter, a collection of services including; coaching, podcasting, courses, workshops, and programs designed to assist people in improving their relationships. She helps men and women around the world to find love. Having lived abroad and experienced different cultures, Andrea returned to the States ready to share her knowledge and insight. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing, an MA in Script Writing, and graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a BA in Liberal Arts. She is certified in Life Coaching, Relationship Coaching, and NLP. How She Got Started... Andrea left the UK and moved back to California to continue a career in the film industry but she quickly realized that her passion for it was burning out. She wanted a career where she could be of service to others. While she explored her options she fell upon a speed dating event at a local bar. It was fun, well attended but VERY unorganized. Feeling like an event is similar enough to producing a small production film, she reached out to the bar the next day. She complimented them on their efforts and asked if she could help them to better organize the event next time. They welcomed her offer and immediately set up another speed dating night. It was a hit! Andrea decided that she wanted to continue to host these events and reached out to other local bars to see if they would be interested in hosting a speed dating event too. Eventually Andrea made it into a nice side job. She branded the company Plan B Dating and hosted all kinds of singles events around town. Slowly people would ask for guidance during the events and Andrea realized she had a hidden talent for dating. Her advice would land beautifully with the participants and began her journey into coaching. She started with a life coaching certification, then got her relationship coaching certification, and eventually an NLP certification. Now she has rebranded the business to Date Smarter services where she offers local events, online courses, private and group coaching, hosts a podcast, and so much more.
