At the age of 10, Amy felt drawn to serve in Africa. She has since lived in Costa Rica, India, and currently lives in Zambia, helping children and young adults. During her travels, Amy fell in love with both the people & wild animals she encountered. She also saw the trauma and adversity that many children faced both in the United States and across the globe. Being moved by their stories, she wanted to help children through a series of books specifically geared for those who have experienced trauma. Together, Amy’s heart for children and her adventurous spirit have created the unique series of Limba Children’s Books. The mission of Limba Children’s Books is to entertain but more importantly to help kids relate to their difficult situations and let them know that they are valued, loved and not alone.
