Amy Gillett is one of the world's leading experts on American English idioms, slang, and expressions and is the author of six books on this topic. In writing Speak Better Business English and Make More Money, Speak English Like an American, More Speak English Like an American, Speak Business English Like an American, Speak English Around Town, and her newest book, American College Slang, Gillett draws on her years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in the USA and Europe. She has taught business English to executives from ICBC of China, the world's largest bank. She has taught at Cornell University, University of Michigan, and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, among other places. Her students are always pleased by her lively teaching style.
