Shadow of the Dragon is award-winning author Amy Daniels' second book, self-published in February 2024, with a unique audiobook produced in April 2025 featuring a main narrator and over 20 other voice actors. It is the recipient of the Literary Titan Gold Book Award of August 2025. Her debut novel, The Hidden Kingdom, is the first book in the series Legends from Qiledara, published in June 2023, and One True King, the third, but not final, book in the series, arrived in September 2024. Amy's latest book to hit Amazon shelves, unrelated to this epic fiction fantasy series, is a children's book titled Animal Control, in May 2025. Amy looks forward to participating in book fairs and meeting her readers (and listeners) in person. Amy has enjoyed a long career as a French teacher, translator, and editor. Amy earned a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and went on to complete her M.A. in French (literature) with a graduate minor in Medieval Studies from the University of Minnesota. When she has time, she enjoys singing, composing her own songs and studying foreign languages. She has enjoyed writing her own stories since childhood. Amy looks forward to completing more stories in the future. Amy finds inspiration in all her travels, especially to European cities and castles. When she is not traveling, Amy enjoys hiking, kayaking, and growing fruits and vegetables in her garden.
