Amy is a speaker and writer for several Christian ministries and mommy blogs. Last year she founded a retreat for moms who have suffered child loss, miscarriage, or stillbirth called the WHOLEHEARTED Retreat. She loves to spend time laughing at her handsome pilot husband and her hilarious six-year-old. Her family recently grew through the beautiful and messy journey of adoption. She writes and speaks about walking and wrestling with our good God in every season of life, through our joys and through deep despair, grief, and disappointment. She encourages vulnerability, expressing what you really feel, and clinging to God's eternal words. Amy is many types of moms! She is a mom to her oldest biological son, an adoptive mom, a mom of loss, and a heart mom. She's also one tired mama! Amy holds a Master's Degree with a concentration in International Relations as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and French (mais, oui!) from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Amy worked for over five years for Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan and now does ministry around the city of Chicago, including speaking regularly at Willow Creek Community Church.
