Amelia Tait is a writer, journalist and keen diarist. Born in Bradford and raised in Richmond, North Yorkshire, Amelia recorded her life in nine mortifying diaries from the ages of 13 to 18 (her adult memories are locked in a 600-page document on her computer). Amelia moved to London and built her career as a freelance features journalist exploring lifestyle, culture and trend stories for publications such as The New York Times, Guardian, and The New Statesman. She has also written humour for McSweeney's and The New Yorker. In 2020, she was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Europe.
