Dr. Alyce Clark is a highly accomplished criminal justice scholar, educator, and retired Norfolk Police Detective with extensive expertise in forensic investigations, violent crime, and law enforcement leadership. Her distinguished career includes two combat tours in Iraq with the Army National Guard, exemplifying her dedication to service and resilience. Currently, Dr. Clark is the Chair of the Forensics Department at Keiser University, where she passionately teaches criminology and forensic science. She holds a doctoral degree from Walden University and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science from Saint Leo University. An active researcher, she has published numerous scholarly articles and is currently engaged in projects investigating cold cases and the bystander effect. Throughout her career, Dr. Clark has received multiple awards recognizing her commitment to student success, professional excellence, and community service. She is particularly dedicated to supporting student veterans and advocates for their success. Additionally, she authored the children’s book Maverick the Service Dog, reflecting her passion for education and service. Dr. Clark continues to advance knowledge in the field of criminal justice, inspiring students and colleagues alike through her leadership, research, and dedication to making a difference.
