During a two-decade corporate career, he jumped from the relative stability of a leadership role in a global consumer goods company into the wild seas of change at Microsoft. In the emergent technology sector, he developed strategies to help him thrive in unpredictable situations by regularly trying new things. He became Microsoft’s first ever Head of Digital Marketing Strategy, pioneering revolutionary new communication channels and launching new versions of Windows and iconic brand campaigns, including ‘I’M A PC’. This is where he first started to develop and codify the powerful new mindset for growth that he now shares in his talks and in this book. Since 2012, Allister has travelled the world as a motivational speaker and coach to leading organisations including Cisco, the NHS, Hyundai, 3M, Team GB, Airbus, and Bosch.
