Allison Shapira is an executive advisor, keynote speaker, bestselling author, and trained opera singer who helps senior leaders communicate with confidence, clarity, and purpose—especially in high-stakes, high-visibility moments. As the founder and CEO of Global Public Speaking, Allison has spent over two decades working with top leaders—from prime ministers and cabinet members to Fortune 100 executives—helping them use their voice to accelerate results and build trust at scale. She has designed and led transformational programs inside some of the world’s most influential organizations, including Fortune 50 companies, government agencies, and nonprofits. Her work focuses on helping leaders transform how they show up, speak up, and lead during times of complexity and change. Drawing on her experience as a trained opera singer, Allison teaches leaders how to command a room not through performance, but through authenticity, presence, and intention. Her frameworks are rooted in real-world experience and equip executives to build alignment, inspire action, and lead with credibility from the boardroom to the global stage. In today’s fast-changing landscape, Allison also helps leaders harness the power of AI to amplify—not replace—their voice. She teaches executives how to integrate AI tools into their leadership communication in a way that sharpens messaging, saves time, and deepens connection with stakeholders. Allison has been an adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School since 2015, teaching graduate students how to speak with impact in public policy and leadership contexts. Her thought leadership has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Harvard Business Review, and Forbes. She is the author of three books: the Washington Post best-seller Speak with Impact: How to Command the Room and Influence Others (HarperCollins Leadership), the companion e-guide Speak with Impact VIRTUALLY, and her newest book, AI for the Authentic Leader: How to Communicate More Effectively Without Losing Your Humanity (Spa Creek Press). Allison was a finalist for 2017 Woman Business Owner of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners, San Diego Chapter. One of the proudest moments of her life was singing the American National Anthem for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. She jokes that she can ask for directions in 10 languages, but only understand the responses in four.
