Alexandra Monir is the Iranian-American author of the internationally best-selling novel THE FINAL SIX, which has been translated into numerous languages around the world; the DC Comics superhero novel BLACK CANARY: BREAKING SILENCE, from the New York Times-bestselling DC Icons series; the Disney historical fantasy REALM OF WONDERS; and five other books for young adults. Alexandra spent her teen years as a pop singer before publishing her debut novel, TIMELESS, and continues to write music. She is currently at work on her 9th novel and has two TV series in active development. Alexandra’s work has appeared on several state reading lists, and she has been a featured speaker at San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con, WonderCon, the Disney College Program, the Iranian-American Women Foundation conferences, and numerous school visits across the country. She lives with her husband and two young children.
