Alan Frame is a journalist, author and broadcaster. He began his career on the Belfast morning paper the News Letter, followed by the Daily Express in Manchester. He then decamped to London for the Daily Sketch (of blessed memory), the Daily Mail and the now defunct Evening News where he was assistant editor. He then crossed to the sunny side of Fleet Street for the Daily Express where from 1990-95 he was executive editor during which time he was a regular broadcaster on BBC radio and television and on LBC. Frame has reported from South Africa, the Soviet Union, Northern Ireland, Hong Kong and on the grim legacy of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. He is the author of Floreat Collegium, the official history of his old school Methodist College, published to mark its 150th year. He lives in London.
