Aimee Bushong is a dynamic force with a life marked by bold choices and creative pursuits. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Aimee’s path has taken her from the ski slopes to international classrooms and rock stages, all while embracing the unconventional. A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in English Literature, she has applied her academic background in diverse ways—from teaching English as a second language to crafting compelling music and stories. A classically trained pianist, Aimee’s passion for music truly came to life at the age of 28 when she founded her own rock band. As the band’s leader, she self-produced and published two albums of original music, performing at over 300 live shows across Colorado. To finance her musical ambitions and maintain creative control, Aimee worked as an exotic dancer for 13 years, a decision that granted her the freedom to follow her artistic passions while challenging societal expectations. In her memoir Rock n Pole, Aimee delves into her unique journey, sharing candid stories of her time in the adult entertainment industry, her love for performing, and the fierce drive that kept her pursuing music. Her life is a testament to resilience, authenticity, and defying convention. Beyond her artistic career, Aimee has lived and worked across South America, Europe, and Thailand, teaching English and immersing herself in new cultures.
