Hi! I’m Afreen—an out-of-the-box writer who finally wrangled my wild late-night ramblings into something that resembles an actual novel (miracles do happen when enough coffee is involved). I love poking at the corners of human experience—especially the messy, funny, chaotic ones—and turning them into stories that make people laugh, think, or tilt their heads and go, “Huh… interesting.” As an avid reader with a soft spot for the lesbian genre, I’m hopelessly drawn to narratives that explore connection, conflict, intimacy, and the beautifully complicated ways women exist in the world. That fascination sneaks into my writing too—so don’t be surprised if my characters feel like real people who could walk off the page, raid your fridge, and then leave you emotionally wrecked in the best way. My books are basically a love letter to everything I adore: mystery, romance, and just enough chaos to keep you wondering if I’m okay (I am… mostly). I write the kind of stories I want to read—fun, layered, heartfelt narratives that don’t always follow the rules, because frankly, I forget what the rules are. When I’m not trying to be a responsible adult, you’ll find me devouring books, snacking like it’s a competitive sport, or convincing myself that procrastination is actually a form of artistic research.
