Achim Zinggrebe, M.D., is a physician and author whose work explores what happens when life changes, what helps us find our footing again, and how we can live with greater clarity and a stronger sense of what truly matters to us.

He began his career as a physician, working in Internal Medicine and Radiology, and has spent more than two decades working in the development of medicines, particularly in oncology and rare diseases.

In 2017, Achim was diagnosed with cancer himself. Experiencing serious illness from the other side of medicine changed both his life and his understanding of what people need when certainty disappears. Today, he brings together three perspectives in his work: physician, cancer survivor, and family caregiver.

His books *Rise and Thrive Above Cancer* and the *Rise and Thrive Journal* grew from this experience. They are written for people living through and beyond cancer who want to understand their situation more clearly, take an active role in their own path, and care for themselves as a whole person.

But the questions that emerged from his own experience eventually reached far beyond cancer.

What truly matters to me? How much of the life I am living is actually mine? What deserves my time and energy? What helps me stay close to myself in the middle of everyday life?

These questions became the foundation of *No More Than This* and the *No More Than This Journal*. These books are for anyone who wants to slow down, look more closely at their own life, and rediscover what feels genuine, meaningful, and worth keeping.

Across both worlds, Achim’s writing follows the same underlying intention: to create orientation without prescribing answers. His books combine experience, reflection, and practical guidance while leaving room for each reader to find a path that is genuinely their own.

He lives in Southern Germany with his family.
